Our Story

Care That Feels Like Family

Quietpine was built around a simple belief — that growing older at home, with the right support, should be a comfortable and dignified experience for everyone involved.

Who We Are

Founded in Taipei, Rooted in Respect

Quietpine began when a group of care coordinators and geriatric support professionals in Taipei recognised a recurring problem — families who genuinely wanted to keep their elderly relatives at home were struggling to find consistent, well-trained help they could trust.

We set out to change that. Our founding team combined backgrounds in social welfare, geriatric assistance, and family coordination to build a service that puts the older adult at the centre. Not a schedule. Not a task list. A person.

Today, Quietpine supports families across Taipei with three levels of service — from a few hours of daily companionship through to full round-the-clock home coverage. Every arrangement is shaped around the individual and reviewed regularly so it continues to fit.

Our Mission

To make high-quality, personalised in-home care accessible to elderly adults and their families across Taiwan — with honesty, consistency, and genuine warmth.

Our Vision

A Taiwan where every older adult who wishes to remain at home can do so safely, comfortably, and with the support of a caregiver who genuinely knows and cares about them.

Our Values

Dignity in all interactions. Transparency with families. Reliability from the first visit to the last. Care that adapts as needs change, without complaint or disruption.

How We Work

Standards We Uphold in Every Arrangement

Every decision at Quietpine comes back to the same questions: Is this safe? Is this dignified? Does this family feel informed and supported?

Background Verification

All Quietpine aides complete thorough background screening before joining. References are checked, credentials reviewed, and practical assessments conducted before any placement.

Structured Care Training

Caregivers complete an internal training programme covering personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, medication awareness, and respectful communication with older adults.

Regular Care Reviews

Every care arrangement is reviewed with the family at scheduled intervals. We check what's working, adjust what isn't, and remain open to feedback at any time.

Personal Data Protection

Client health details, care notes, and personal records are managed in line with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. Access is restricted to directly involved personnel only.

Dignity-First Approach

Our care guidelines place the individual's autonomy and self-respect at the centre. Caregivers are trained to offer help without overstepping, and to always follow the client's preferred pace.

24-Hour Care Coordination

For families using our round-the-clock service, coordination support is available at all hours. Unexpected situations are handled promptly and families are informed without delay.

In-Home Elderly Care in Taipei — A Different Kind of Support

For many families in Taiwan, the question of how to support an ageing parent or grandparent while maintaining their independence is one of the most personal decisions they'll face. Quietpine exists to make that path easier — not by providing a generic service, but by working carefully with each family to understand what's actually needed.

Home care in Taipei presents particular challenges. Urban schedules are demanding, extended family structures have shifted, and the options available to families have not always kept pace with what people genuinely need. Quietpine was founded specifically to address this gap — to offer a service built on personal contact, consistent caregivers, and transparent communication rather than high turnover and distant management.

Our office is based in Daan District, and the majority of our clients are located in central Taipei. Our coordinators understand the local environment — the hospitals, the transit routes, the community facilities — and that practical knowledge feeds directly into better care.
